Payment Methods

When using BitBite for online ordering, you can accept payment from your users through currently 2 payment methods:

Self Managed (In Person)

Accept payments in person - cash, credit or otherwise. With this option, you can manage your payments and receipts through your own systems/POS. You can also still use our order management system (OMS) the vendor terminal to manage orders and payment status.

When a user selects this payment method it is the vendor's responsibility to collect payment

This is the default way to use our online ordering system and thus every account must accept this method.

Digital (Online)

Accept payments from your customers through our numerous digital options. This includes:

  • Credit (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Venmo

If you choose to accept digital payments, BitBite will receive payment for orders at the time of purchase and pay you out at regular intervals.

If there is an error charging a customers digital payment method, it will be switched to Self-Managed/In-Person
